What you will be doing :
- Speak directly with customers to review tribology and lubricant testing lab results
- Explain wear patterns, lubrication issues, and mechanical findings in clear terms
- Provide recommendations to improve equipment performance and reliability
- Support customers in identifying root causes of friction and wear problems
- Work with our lab team to ensure testing aligns with customer needs
- Assist with report explanations, and data interpretation
- Translate mechanical knowledge into actionable insights for clients
What you bring to the table :
Mechanical experience : mechanic, millwright, mechanical technician, heavy-duty tech, or equivalentStrong understanding of mechanical systems (bearings, gears, pumps, engines, hydraulics, etc.)Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts clearlyCustomer-focused mindset and confidence in speaking with clientsWillingness to learn tribology (friction, wear, lubrication) — training providedWork Environment :
This position requires a person to stand, sit and lift throughout the shift in a laboratory environment. Manual dexterity is required to perform repetitive tasks. PPE is required where applicable.
