Plant Manager

The opportunity :

Thomson Power Systems (a Regal Rexnord company) is a leading manufacturer of electrical products and systems for use in the power generation industry for over 50 years. We are currently seeking a talented Plant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will lead and manage the Thomson Power Systems operations in Langley BC to achieve EHS operational excellence financial quality and employee engagement objectives through the Regal Rexnord Business System (RBS). They will play a key role in creating a vision to achieve our Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and long-term strategic objectives. Main responsibilities :

• Lead a cross-functional team to achieve AOP and strategic goals.
• Drive a culture of zero-incident through effective EHS initiatives per OSHA and EPA.
• Provide effective leadership coaching and mentorship to business leaders.
• Drive lean and continuous improvement initiatives through the RBS to improve SQDIC.
• Develop and execute strategic CapEx and cost out plans to meet business objectives.
• Develop and cultivate relationships with key internal and external suppliers.
• Communicate key production metrics to business leaders and associates as required.
• Partner with business leaders to provide the best service for customers.
• Build organization capability by creating a strong employee culture and engagement.
• Demonstrate a leadership style that aligns with Regal Rexnord values.
• Be the central point of contact for the business on operations related inquiries.
