Trans Mountain Corporation operates Canada’s only pipeline system transporting oil products to the West Coast. We deliver approximately 890,000 barrels of petroleum products each day through a dual pipeline system of more than 1,150 kilometres of pipeline in Alberta, British Columbia and Washington state.

Trans Mountain also operates a state-of-the-art loading facility, Westridge Marine Terminal, with three berths providing tidewater access to global markets.

Security - Summer Student

As a Security - Summer Student with Trans Mountain (TM), you’ll have the opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast‑paced group of Security experts. The successful candidate will assist with the development and maintenance of the Security Program and ISLMS documentation ensuring compliance with the Onshore Pipeline Regulations (OPR).

This position is based in our Calgary office and reports to the Manager, Security.

Duration : May 4, 2026, to August 21, 2026.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Security department training and exercise program by assisting with logistics coordination and onsite representation during exercise events.
• Assist with Security Inspections in the field to ensure conformance with TM’s Corporate Security Standard and make recommendations for improvements.
• Support Security department data analysis by assisting with statistical reporting to support security risk assessments and asset deployment.
• Update security field inspections and ensuring site conformance with the TM Corporate Security Standards and regulations.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations that summarize findings and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Collect and organize security‑related data.
• Responsible for report writing and data entry.
• Provide administrative assistance to the Corporate Security team, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.
