Job Description :

EMS is seeking to fill a Technical Sales role with an experienced environmental field, project management and client management professional who would like to enter into a new challenge with our dynamic team.

The ideal person, first and foremost, excels in client-facing roles. This hybrid position combines project management, account management, and sales responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working directly with clients and managing projects with the focus on supporting the best outcomes for execution.

This role is office-based, however previous environmental field experience and knowledge of environmental contaminated sites work across Western Canada is essential.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Client Management : working with the Director of Business Development on arranging timely meetings with clients, identifying the goals / outcomes / opportunities for each project, working through project details for deployment and field tasks
  • Helping to clearly outline the objective, define EMS Technology applicable to the scope of work and ensure the cost framework for the technology for each project are updated as needed through the process.
  • Develop and implement efficient processes and workflows to enhance project delivery.
  • Review, edit and deliver project reports, proposals, and other documentation as required.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships.
  • Understand client needs and provide solutions that align with their goals.
  • Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication and follow-ups.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental and / or project management.
  • Strong understanding of environmental regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Proven experience in a client-facing role with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Sales experience and a track record of achieving targets is a plus.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
