Job Summary

Provide process inputs for plant performance operatingcases optimization modifications complex troubleshootingturnarounds engineering studies and investigations to optimize thecost of operating units and facilities either independently or as aTeam Member Looking for a competent PBR (Poly Butadaiene Rubber)process engineer to help enhance plant performance.

KeyResponsibilities :

• Assess unit operation and instruct corrective action toresolve process problems.
• Develop monthlyperformance reports for related units in Jubail and Yanbu usingtools such as APAC Exaquantum DCS trends PRO II Uniformance DYNAMOetc.
• Suggest improvements for process controlstrategies.
• Review and assess the overallperformance of plants and equipment such as compressors pumps heatexchangers distillation columns etc.
• Identifylosses and propose recommendations for improvement.
• Provide necessary support to operations staff duringshutdown startup complex troubleshooting and critical or emergencysituations.
• Ensure plant process integritythrough a welldefined operating envelope and proper monitoring ofcritical process parameters.
• Contribute toProcess Safety by monitoring Process Safety Performance Indicators(PSPI) and proposing improvements.
• Support theimplementation of standards and recommendations from the industry(EIGA API etc.).
• Participate in AlarmManagement committee and MOC review committee.
• Participate and / or lead process Hazard Analysis (PHA) forrevalidations and projects.
• Act as SHE elementadministrator or Subelement committee member.
• Prepare study reports and / or process specifications forproposals for plant changes / modifications (MOC) projects andtechnical ideas initiated.
• Support definitionand implementation of Capital projects by providing input forconceptual Design Package (CDP) technical input to Invitation toBid (ITB) and technical support during execution.
• Contribute and provide technical support forinvestigations and Root Cause Analysis (RCA)initiatives.
• Utilize reliability methodologies(RCM RBI RIS ACA).
• Interact and handlecommunication with Licensors Suppliers This Company Technology andInnovation (T&I) Asset Technology Center (ATC) other affiliatesand vendors.
• Provide engineering input forscope of work preparation and technical evaluation for externalservices.
• Assist the Process EngineeringManager in additional duties such as contribution to peopledevelopment.
• Follow up and close RCA PHA PIRand audit recommendations.
• Provide technicalinput to resolve customer queries.
• Contributeto energy and sustainability programs by optimizing chemical powerand water consumption.

Requirements :

• This role required candidate topermanently relocate at Jubail SaudiArabia.
• Bachelors degree inChemical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years as aProcess Engineer (Technical Support) in the relevantfield.
• Project experience includingprecommissioning commissioning and startup of chemical / ASU plantsis an added qualification.
• Familiarity withinternational standards codes and regulations.
• Experience utilizing simulation programs.
• Strong technical cost analysis and technical writingskills.
• Experience with Process Elastomer inmanufacturing PBR (Poly Butadiene Rubber).
• Good knowledge of Thermodynamics Process / Equipment designoperation and control of chemicals.
• Excellentcommunication skills.
• Ability to buildpersonal rapport and motivation required for effective coaching ofinternal staff and collaboration with external groups.
