About the Role

This opportunity offers a team leadership position with our growing transportation team. We are seeking a Lead Traffic Engineer / Project Manager with project‑management experience and an entrepreneurial spirit to grow our transportation planning and operational‑analysis business lines and advance his or her career.

What a day at EXP has in store for you

• Develop and supervise a team handling transportation planning and traffic‑operations analyses, including complex traffic impact studies for land development.
• Perform environmental assessment and construction traffic impact analyses.
• Prepare transportation master plans and operational analyses, including micro‑simulation.
• Serve as Project Manager for traffic tasks and projects.
• Maintain client communications; prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Coordinate internal resources to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget and with quality control.
• Oversee the assessments and preparation of reports, drawings and other deliverables prepared by junior staff.
• Attend public / private meetings and make presentations as a representative of EXP and / or our clients to municipal road authorities and the MTO.
• Assist in business‑development activities to grow our group.
• Make a positive contribution to the overall team culture and environment.
