OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel - Job Description

• The Analyst will be responsible for assisting in resolving margin disputes as a result of exposure differences on OTC uncleared Derivative trades
• The incumbent will create daily reconciliation reports and be responsible for monitoring, reporting and escalation of trade and portfolio level exposure differences keeping in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Department : Collateral Management Services - Team is responsible for daily margining, collateral bookings, trade exposure reconciliation, cash management and client onboarding
• Produce exposure reconciliations for in-scope counterparties according to regulatory guidelines including ageing and reasons for differences
• Track and monitor frequency of required reconciliations based on counterparty trade volumes in compliance with industry regulations
• Partner with IT to reduce systemic risk and increase operational efficiencies in the daily process
• Case Management and reporting of exposure differences in TriResolve and using EUC tools
• Escalating disputes / discrepancies as per Standing Orders and department Operating Procedures
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and counterparties to ensure timely resolution of exposure differences in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Assist in producing management reporting for KPI purposes
• Proactively advise margin teams on potential disputes through the day
• Cross-train as required on additional control functions including CSA onboarding

OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel - Mandatory Skills

• College or University Diploma / degree
• 1-2 years’ experience in an operations / middle office role ideally with Derivatives and / or reconciliation
• Good understanding of the OTC margining workflow under the ISDA-CSA protocols
• Understanding of Over-the-Counter Derivative trading and settlement process
• Good understanding of E2E margin process
• Advanced MS Excel skills - macros, advanced data functions
• Attention to detail / Ability to multi-task while adhering to deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills

OTC Derivative Dispute & Reconciliation Analyst - MS Excel- Preferred Skills

• Experience with Database queries for reporting (nice to have)
• Management Information reporting (nice to have)
• Familiarity with COLLINE, TriResolve, Acadia (nice to have)
