Project Manager

Position Overview

Join Finning and play a key role in managing complex power & energy projects! As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing power & energy construction projects from inception to completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while maintaining adherence to contract requirements, safety, and company requirements.

Job Description

• Lead the initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closing of multiple projects simultaneously.
• Understand and effectively use project management systems and strong, disciplined project management practices to achieve positive scope, schedule, quality, and cost results and manage and mitigate risks on each project.
• Effectively communicate and engage with all stakeholders, focusing on driving project engagement and ensure delivery is in alignment with business goals.
• Demonstrate ability to lead effectively through ambiguity by bringing structure, clarity, and direction to complex, evolving initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and foster strong relationships to support project success.
• Coordinate diverse project teams, including internal staff and outsourced resources, to deliver projects on time and within budget.
• Lead and manage project teams, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance.
• Support and contribute to departmental continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing processes, efficiency, and overall project management maturity.
