The Opportunity :
McElhanney is seeking an Intermediate Geotechnical Engineer to enhance our technical depth and build our team within our Geotechnical division. As an experienced Geotechnical Engineer, you will act as an influential leader motivating and working with a high performing team of technical professionals while providing technical input and design on a wide variety of challenging projects across McElhanney. Our client base is diverse – we need technical leaders who can deliver quality professional work in a timely manner. A demonstrated depth of past technical work is expected commensurate with your level of experience.
As an experienced Geotechnical Engineer, you will have a minimum 5+ years of professional experience, while being a strong team player with high productivity and excellent attention to detail. Aside from your technical skills, you’ll also have the opportunity to further build out our geotechnical services.
This is a full-time position offering a 40 hour work week Monday to Friday and is designated as a safety sensitive position.
The successful candidate will be based in Prince George, BC. For qualified non-local candidates willing to relocate, relocation assistance is available.

What Can We Offer You?
The salary range for this position is $95,000 to $140,000 Per Annum. McElhanney offers fair compensation that is commensurate with the individual’s education, experience, skills, and professional qualifications. The posted base salary / wage range is representative of the required level of qualifications and experience for the position as noted in the job posting. The salary offered will be based on the experience and qualifications of the successful candidate.
