Job Description

You’ll have the opportunity to grow capabilities and accelerate your development through our Indigenous Student Internship program, open to Indigenous post‑secondary students across Canada. We are offering roles in business analysis, project management and software development. By joining the CGI Indigenous Student Internship program, you will have access to :

• Coffee chats with leaders based on areas of interest
• Networking opportunities with peers in our national co‑op program
• Working flexible hours depending on the project you are allocated to and as mutually agreed upon with your manager

Depending on your profile, your resume may be shared with other hiring teams, in addition to the ones noted below. You will be contacted for an interview if they have suitable opportunities available.

Position Descriptions

Junior Business Analyst

As a Junior Business Analyst you'll gather requirements, analyze processes, and collaborate with teams to implement digital solutions that enhance efficiency and service delivery. This is an opportunity to work alongside the team that is implementing a digital transformation project for one of CGI’s federal government clients. It's a unique chance to gain hands‑on experience driving impactful change in a complex environment.

Project Intern

As the Project Intern, you'll play a central role in ensuring the success of projects by facilitating communication, tracking timelines, and coordinating resources. Your responsibilities include assisting with documentation, reports, and presentations, while proactively identifying and mitigating risks. This role offers valuable experience in project management within a leading IT and business consulting organization, contributing directly to project success and client satisfaction.

Junior Full Stack Java Developer

The Junior Full Stack Java Developer position offers an exciting opportunity for entry‑level developers to dive into the world of full‑stack development using Java technologies. Working closely with experienced developers and project teams, you'll have the chance to learn and grow your skills in Java programming, web development, and database management. Whether it's crafting user‑friendly interfaces or optimizing database performance, you'll contribute to delivering high‑quality solutions for CGI's clients. This role is ideal for passionate individuals eager to kickstart their careers in software development within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The determination of this range includes factors such as skill set level, geographic market, experience and training, and licenses and certifications. Compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $18-32 / hour. This role is an existing vacancy.
