Scope

The Intergovernmental Forum on Mining, Minerals, Metals and Sustainable Development (IGF) supports its more than 85 member countries in advancing their sustainable development goals through effective laws, policies, and regulations for the mining sector. With a growing demand from our members, we are seeking support for our team, with a particular focus on legal and regulatory frameworks and dispute resolution and prevention, as well as at the intersections of other work areas of the IGF Mining Policy Framework.

Responsibilities :

Operations and Program Management

• Collaborate with IISD staff, affiliates, partners, and consultants in the design and implementation of projects.
• Participate in project missions, arranging elements of missions as appropriate.
• Lead the organization and documentation of webinars, meetings, trainings, and public consultations as required.

Position Details

Location : Hybrid, Winnipeg

Candidates must hold an appropriate work authorization for locations where they expect to be based, without any sponsorship from IISD.

Salary : The target hiring range for this position is$47,000 CAD- $57,000 CAD Annually,with the ability to progress to a maximum of CAD 65,000 annually. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
