Process Engineer - Line Sizing & Hydraulics
Agilus is recruiting for a Process Engineer - Line Sizing & Hydraulics in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta . We’re seeking a skilled Process Engineer for a minimum 12‑month term to perform hydraulic calculations and line sizing for modular and field facilities. You’ll ensure accurate sizing, reliable operation, and safe system design while supporting P&IDs updates and troubleshooting during design reviews.

Responsibilities :
Perform detailed process and utility line sizing using simulation dataEvaluate pump suction and discharge systems including NPSH requirements@TestDescription
Support compressor auxiliary lines including lube and seal systemsComplete reboiler elevation and hydraulic assessmentsConduct plant hydraulic calculations including pressure-drop analysisUpdate P&IDs with accurate setpoints and flow requirementsApply sizing criteria per project specifications and standardsDesign drain and purge systems for safe operation and maintenanceRequirements :
Bachelor’s bino in Chemical, Process, or Mechanical EngineeringEligible for or registered as a P.Eng. with APEGA (or equivalent)
3-8 years of experience in hydraulic modeling and line sizingStrong knowledge of fluid dynamics and hydraulic performance evaluationFamiliarity with AFT Arrow / Fathom or similar tools (asset)Ability to update P&IDs and setpoints based on system findingsProficient Մի Microsoft Office SuiteExperience in design reviews and troubleshooting operational issuesSeniority level
