WinstonBrock Recruitment, on behalf of our Hamilton-based client, is seeking a Shipper / Receiver to join their dynamic production team.

Role Overview

The Shipper / Receiver plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products within a high-volume printing environment. This position is responsible for receiving and inspecting shipments, organizing and maintaining inventory, delivering paper and supplies to presses, and preparing and shipping finished print products to customers.

This is a hands-on role that requires superior forklift skills, safe truck operation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production setting. The Shipper / Receiver will also support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize warehouse and shipping processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments of paper, raw materials, and supplies
• Safely deliver paper and supplies to presses to support continuous production
• Organize and maintain warehouse inventory across multiple storage locations
• Operate forklifts, Raymond reach trucks, and pallet jacks to move, load, and stage shipments
• Drive a 4.9-ton truck to transfer paper and products between warehouse sites
• Complete shipping and receiving documentation (bills of lading, packing slips, etc.) accurately and on time
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized warehouse spaces in compliance with company policies and safety standards
• Communicate with production and office staff regarding shipments, inventory levels, and delivery needs
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in shipping, receiving, and warehouse processes
