Vancouver Island University invites applications for the Instructor, Pharmacy Technician position.

Pay Range

CA$71,846.00 / yr – CA$115,129.00 / yr (based on skills and experience)

Duties

• Plan, prepare, and instruct program courses.
• Use creative adult learning strategies in the preparation and delivery of in‑person clinical skills.
• Assess and evaluate student learning.
• Record and submit grades.
• Provide support to students to ensure their success.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues and industry partners.

PTEC 223 – Institutional Dispensing and Sterile Product Preparation

Required Qualifications

To instruct PTEC 223, incumbents must be currently working in sterile compounding in a hospital setting and have up‑to‑date certification in aseptic compounding techniques per NAPRA standards.

Preferred Qualifications

Please submit a CV / Resume detailing sterile compounding experience and include a copy of your Sterile Compounding Certificate.
