The Opportunity
We are seeking a Customer Service Coordinator for our Brampton site. The role is a 12‑month maternity coverage. You will report to the Customer Service Manager and will plan and coordinate the delivery of our corrugated products and services, building and maintaining relationships with customers. Key responsibilities include order creation, status review, and closing validation; invoicing liaison; project management; and continuous service improvement.
What You’ll Do
Client Management
- Manage several client portfolios, including order entry, status updates, and order closure tasks.
- Maintain specifications / SKUs, validating and updating revisions, versioning and routing options.
- Communicate verbally and in writing, including proper email etiquette.
- Handle client and intercompany inquiries.
- Expedite orders.
- Manage client portals and middleware programs such as EDI.
- Onboard and maintain clients according to purchase order acceptance and billing terms, including proforma, credit or order holds.
Project Management
Collaborate with Sales on new account activation and onboarding, including credit approval status.Follow up on project development status : design, estimating, graphics approval, color / brand management, fly sheet execution, and spec completion in MIS system.Process RFQs, validate before release to production, and review specifications against quotations.Apply unique requirements such as C of C, FSC, GMP or other food safety order validations.Finance Support
Support price increases and other financial obligations required by contracts or agreements.Work with invoicing clerks to upload invoices and documents for billing and payment in client portals or other systems.Quality Review
Assist with non‑conformance investigation and corrective / preventative actions.Communicate quality expectations to clients as part of onboarding or ongoing account management.Experience
3+ years proven experience in customer service with a strong customer orientation.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to work cross‑functionally and communicate effectively with various teams.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and general computer skills.Analytical and problem‑solving skills.Self‑starter with the ability to work in a team setting.What We Offer
