Responsibilities :

Financial Leadership :

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Board Presentations :

Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports and strategic recommendations to the Board of Directors, ensuring clear communication of financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

Strategic Initiatives :

Collaborate with senior management on strategic initiatives, providing financial insights and analysis to support decision-making and long-term planning.

Fund Management :

Manage the organization’s funds, including investment strategies and cash flow management, to ensure optimal financial performance and sustainability.

Budgeting and Forecasting :

Lead the budgeting process, working closely with department heads to develop accurate and realistic budgets. Monitor financial performance against forecasts and implement corrective actions as needed.

Auditing and Compliance :

Oversee internal and external audits, ensuring all financial activities are conducted in accordance with established standards and best practices.

Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard the organization’s assets.

Team Management :

Manage and mentor a small finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities to ensure high performance and engagement.

Qualifications :

  • CPA Designation (Chartered Professional Accountant) is required.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
  • Proven experience in presenting financial information to senior management and boards.
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
