The Role : Neo Financial is looking for a Senior Android Developer to join our team in Calgary.

As a Senior Developer, you will be a technical leader in the mobile space, driving best practices, owning complex features end-to-end, and mentoring team members. You will be instrumental in scaling our highly-rated Android application and shaping the future of our mobile architecture within a modern stack of Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and GraphQL. This role requires deep expertise in app performance, reliability, and robust testing strategies, and will play a key role in strategically integrating and optimizing our Android app.

Meet the Team & Tech Stack :

You will be joining a large, collaborative Front-End Engineering team of over 35+ professionals. Specializing in iOS, Android, Web, and React Native, they are all focused on building our core application. We maintain high code quality with tools like Koin for dependency injection and testing frameworks such as JUnit, Paparazzi, and Compose UI Test, while boosting productivity with GitHub Copilot. We work closely with our iOS, Web, React Native, Product, Design, and Backend partners, and are currently looking at strategic opportunities to leverage React Native into the application to accelerate cross-platform feature delivery.
