We’re a 22 year + Canadian-owned staffing and employment agency on the lookout for a driven team player to join us.
As a Staffing Specialist , your role will revolve around cultivating leads, nurturing client relationships, and finalizing sales for staffing solutions across various industries within the business community.
Your main focus will involve the day-to-day operations of promoting our staffing services, which cover contract, contract-to-hire, direct hire, and payroll solutions.
These services cater to a broad spectrum of sectors including general labor, semi-skilled, skilled, office, clerical, and professional domains.
This position demands exceptional organizational skills, adept communication abilities, and a genuine passion for aligning candidates with suitable positions.
Responsibilities include :
- Collaborating closely with the management team to assess potential clients’ staffing needs through various channels such as in-person visits, phone calls, emails, or virtual meetings.
- Reviewing numerous resumes and applicants to pinpoint potential hires.
- Coordinating with clients to understand specific job requirements and roles.
- Generating leads among potential employers.
- Developing hiring strategies to attract candidates for advertised positions.
- Advertising job vacancies and conducting applicant interviews.
- Undertaking other duties as assigned by management.
- You’ll also learn the ins and outs of daily operations within an employment agency.
Required skills :
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, in English (French proficiency is advantageous).
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team.
