This role will manage a team of three, while being hands on in the payroll process for over 1500 employees as well! Responsibilities :
- Process salary payroll, and act as backup for hourly payroll
- Address any payroll inquiries or discrepancies with a high degree of professionalism
- Reconcile payroll General Ledgers
- Calculate HST and WSIB remittances
- Manage payroll team and ensure the process runs smoothly
Job Requirements
- Must have PCP, PLP or CPM designation
- Must have union payroll experience
- 5+ year's of strong hands on payroll experience with some experience managing a team
- System Implementation experience considered an asset
