DELIVERY MATERIAL HANDLER (Class 3Q or Class 1)

Delivery Material Handlers work in teams and are responsible for the safe and efficient delivery, unloading and placement of building materials onto customer sites including residential, commercial and industrial building construction sites in Calgary and surrounding areas.

EARN $75,000 - $100,000 PER YEAR

Class 3Q or Class 1 license (Full-time, permanent)

DUTIES

• Deliver, unload and place building materials according to customer specifications.
• Operate remote controlled picker cranes, rough terrain forklifts and conveyors.
• Drive 4 / 5 axle trucks with tridem pup trailers to jobsites (up to 8 axles) depending on license classification.
• Hoist building materials.
• Typical day : 20% driving, 20% operating a crane or Moffett forklift, 60% physically handling, unloading and placing heavy building materials on construction sites.
