In this capacity, the Dinning Room Manager plays a crucial role. What you will be doing :
Support and monitor the efficacy of all food and beverage activities within the residence to align with Aspira standards and expectations for hospitality-style dining servicesResponsible for overseeing all aspects of management related to dining room servers, including recruitment, orientation, supervision and performance evaluation, aimed at maintaining high productivity levelsConduct training and education sessions on hospitality-style dining service to ensure that team members are proficient in providing excellent service to residentsAssist with meal service by performing server duties as neededReport supply and procurement requirements to the General ManagerManage staffing levels for dining room within the allocated budgetSupporting the planning and organizing external marketing events and ensures that all dining room and bistro / café area are tour readyYou have strong people skills that can guide, motivate and supervise a diverse team while also being able to delegate tasks effectivelyCan demonstrate patient, understanding, and able to connect with both residents and their familiesYou are able to think quickly, adapt to changing situations, and resolve issues efficientlyPossess effective organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks, manage budgets and ensure the smooth operation of the departmentWhat you need to know :
Graduated from high school and completed coursework in hospitality service management, guest relations, service excellence, or a related fieldBrings two years of experience in fine dining, catering service or hospitality within hotels and restaurantsHas a valid Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve certificateYou must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work / study permitYou must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check and Criminal Records CheckSienna Senior Living may utilize artificial Intelligence to screen or assess applicants for this positionSienna Senior Living is committed to employment equity, diversity, and inclusion in the workplace.
