• Junior Accountant
• to join our Finance team in
• Langley, BC.
• Reporting to the
• Team Lead, Treasury Services
• , you will act as the subject matter expert and be responsible for coordinating and supporting the business with a primary focus on cash-up and accounts receivable. In this role, you will provide guidance to internal partners, troubleshoot complex cash-related issues, and ensure timely, accurate reconciliation processes that support overall financial integrity and business operations.
• You will be responsible for :
• Preparing daily and monthly reconciliations, reviewing sales data, and troubleshooting discrepancies.
• Supporting retail stores as the first point of contact for cash-up and accounts receivable inquiries, including training and guidance.
• Preparing journal entries and assisting with various accounting duties, including coordinating month end processes and maintaining accurate process documentation.
• Monitoring accounts receivable aging, following up on late or unpaid accounts, and resolving escalated issues related to corporate credit accounts.
• Running financial reports, analyzing data, and providing insights or recommendations to support management decision making.
• Contributing to continuous process improvements and supporting ad hoc projects as needed.
• Leading AR related audit requirements, including year-end tasks and walkthroughs with external auditors.
• You have :
• 1-2 years of cash-up and / or accounts receivables experience.
• Completed or currently enrolled in a recognized accounting diploma program, or equivalent experience with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
• 1 year of related accounting experience, ideally within a retail environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Knowledge of accounting, payment, and banking procedures is considered an asset.

• Compensation Details :
• $53,832.00 - $67,290.00The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience and other factors.
