Job descriptionA minimum of 6 months working in Wage Grade 1 or higher Reach Truck, Narrow aisle, and Picker Truck experience is preferred Must be able to prioritize numerous demands and possess good time management skills Must be able to communicate written and spoken English effectively Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to work well in a team environment with minimum supervision Ability to regularly lift and handle material weighing up to 40 pounds Familiar with computer / tablet use; basic understanding of Microsoft suite is preferred Preference will be given to candidates with accredited reach truck / forklift certification A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator Candidate must demonstrate the ability to work in a safe manner and comply in all aspects of the organization's policies and procedures This posting is for a static afternoon shift scheduled Monday – Thursday; 10 hours per day Any future shift changes that may occur will be made in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Collective Agreement Applicants must apply with either an updated Professional Profile on Workday or attached resume to be considered Will require successful completion of drug and alcohol testing, a criminal background check, and a medical assessment Hourly Rate : $25.46 - $36.07 / Hour
Position Overview
As a Material Handler in the new parts warehouse, you will be responsible for material movements within the facility, as well as shipping / receiving goods to / from other facilities. You will ensure all moves are made in a safe manner and are properly recorded / input into the warehouse management systems.
