BCI’s Enterprise Architecture team plays a central role in developing customized solutions that meet the technical and strategic needs of the organization’s diverse front, middle, and back-office divisions.
As capabilities advance, BCI seeks a business- and innovation-minded enterprise architect to join an exceptionally creative team under the leadership of the Director, Enterprise Architecture.
This role will be pivotal in supporting the continued digital transformation of the organization. The new Enterprise Architect will be responsible for helping to drive innovation and thinking around new technology solutions and will work closely with the Director and other business stakeholders to synthesize an enterprise-level view of the current-and future-state architecture while implementing creative solutions.
The ideal candidate will be an innovative professional with proven experience driving digital transformation and technology innovation initiatives in a business with diverse needs and internal clients.
This experience could have been gained in a similar architecture role or another business-facing technology / innovation mandate.
The new Enterprise Architect will need to be capable of building relationships across the organization with both technical and non-technical audiences and embrace a consultative and engaging approach.
Knowledge of the financial services industry would be ideal but not required.
Based in Victoria or Vancouver, BC, this is a unique opportunity to take on an impactful role supporting technology strategy and execution in an institutional investor amongst the largest globally.
BCI offers a competitive total rewards package which includes a performance-based incentive plan, comprehensive health & dental benefits, a defined benefit pension plan and paid time off.
The annualized base salary range for this Victoria-based role is CAD $115,000 - $135,000.
The base salary offered to the successful candidate will consider a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill set, level of experience applicable to the role they are being offered and consideration to internal equity.

We aim for actual pay to be around the median of the market for target or expected levels of performance, and around the upper quartile of the market for excellent performance.
