Accountant

• Prepare weekly bank reconciliations.
• Process and record Pre-Authorized Payments.
• Prepare intercompany reconciliations and invoices.
• Complete month-end procedures and reporting requirements.
• Prepare year-end working papers for external financial statement audits.
• Maintain policies and procedure manuals relevant to accounting responsibilities.

• CPA designation or within two years of completing the CPA program.
• 3+ years of experience in a progressively responsible accounting role.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and experience with Dynamics Great Plains (an asset).
• Strong work ethic, superior attention to detail, and effective time management.
• Positive attitude with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Exposure within a lending environment (banking and/or leasing) is an asset.
• Agreeable to a criminal background and credit check.
