Exciting Opportunity for a CORES 2 Certified Legal Assistant!

Join a well-established and respected Edmonton-based legal firm as a key member of their dynamic legal support team. This is a full-time, permanent role supporting both tax reorganization and litigation work , offering structured onboarding, training, and ongoing mentorship.

About the Role

This position provides direct legal assistant support to lawyers across both tax and litigation matters, with a primary focus on tax reorganizations . You will work closely with Partners and Associates and play a key role in supporting high-quality legal work while maintaining organization, accuracy, and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive legal assistant support for tax reorganization and litigation files.
• Prepare, review, and format legal and corporate documentation with a high level of accuracy.
• Maintain corporate records and assist with tax reorganization documentation.
• Manage calendars, deadlines, and file organization.
• Liaise professionally with lawyers, clients, and internal team members.
• Work with legal software including HotDocs, MinuteBox, and Clio (training provided).
• Adapt to changing priorities and support lawyers with varying working styles.
• Additional administrative based tasks as required.
