• Technical Quoting Specialist
• to join our Switchgear team in Langley, BC.The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and managing technical quotes for prospective clients, ensuring accurate cost estimations, managing and prioritizing customer accounts, order processing, and providing support to customer’s questions or inquiries.
• Main responsibilities
• Review drawings, specifications and project documents to understand scopes and requirements.
• Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates and quotes for projects, ensuring compliance with company policies, customer specifications, and industry standards.
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, operations, and engineering to provide the best solutions for customers and address their needs promptly.
• Maintain a database of quotations within Salesforce for analytical purposes.
• Manage multiple customer accounts and quotation requests simultaneously.
• Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Qualification :
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of technical experience in electrical and automation industries.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, bills of materials, and specifications with minimum assistance.
• Experience in quoting electrical panels or distribution systems will be considered as an asset

• Communication skills in English : written and verbal
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office : Word and Excel
• Working knowledge of ERP systems : SAP or equivalent
• Working knowledge of CRM systems : Salesforce or equivalent
• Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada without requiring company sponsorship to obtain or keep Canada work authorization.
• Location
• : This position is based at Thomson Power System’s Langley facility, Hybrid schedule.
• Salary Range : $75,000 - $100,000 CAD
• The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors, including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience, education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
