High Speed Serdes IP Electrical Engineer Intern (PEY 2024)

This position is open to students who are part of the PEY program at University of Toronto.

We offer amazing opportunities to grow, no matter where you are in your career. Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities : · Running system simulations, sweeping parameters on 100+Gb / s and 200+Gb / s serial links to meet specifications and challenging requirement for customer applications.

Create testing setups and drive automation.

Position Requirements : · Currently a 3rd year student from Electrical and Computer Engineering or Engineering Science, at the University of Toronto.

• Energized by learning engineering concepts and methods. · Prior familiarity with fundamentals such as transmission line theory and / or high-speed data communication is a plus.
• Driven to understand and root cause problems comprehensively.
• Previous experience (work, internship, or course projects) documenting test methodology, results, and conclusion.
• Familiarity with scripting languages, such as Python or Perl.
• Familiarity with MATLAB or equivalent mathematical analysis tools.
