AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY :
Reporting to the Recreation Programmer / Recreation Coordinator, plan, organize and implement a high quality program that is stimulating and enjoyable for all participants. Provide supervision, guidance and coaching to staff and volunteers. Responsible for the safety and wellbeing of registered participants at all times.
SELECTION CRITERIA :
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE :
1 – 2 years gymnastics experience
Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
OTHER SKILLS AND ASSETS :
NCCP Full Foundations or Level 1 certification with Risk Management and Risk in Sport, considered an asset
NCCP level 1 Trampoline, considered an asset
NCCP Gymnastics Level 2 considered an asset
Current Standard First Aid / CPR C from an accredited organization, or ability to obtain within 1 month of date of hire
HIGH FIVE Principles of Healthy Child Development or Sport Certification, or ability to obtain within 2 months of the date of hire
Exceptional customer service and communication skills
