Position Summary
The Physiotherapist is responsible for the caseload of outpatient and inpatient program.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Physical Therapy with evidence of ongoing professional development required.
- Current registration with the Ontario College of Physiotherapy required.
- Eligible for membership with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association required.
- 1-3 years experience working with patients of various ages with neurological and orthopaedic diagnosis in the acute and rehabilitation phases of assessment and treatment required.
- Demonstrated ability to function collaboratively and effectively within an interdisciplinary team and with community partners.
- Proven ability to prioritize and organize caseload to deal effectively and efficiently with competing demands.
- Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office software applications and excellent keyboarding skills.
- Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated superior organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize and multi task efficiently.
- Demonstrated ability in conflict management.
- Demonstrated good interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrates commitment to continued professional and personal growth and development through Continuing Education Programs and Self Directed Learning Opportunities.
- Satisfactory work performance and attendance record required
