Base pay range

$139,200.00 / yr - $208,800.00 / yr

The Role

We are seeking an experienced program manager with strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk management skills in IP program management. Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional organization to meet commitments for successful tape‑outs. Must be able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

The Person

As a Program Manager you will partner with our cross‑functional teams to manage customer accounts and their portfolio, understand our customers’ platforms / solutions. Identify and document customer requirements and establish engineering schedules. Drive AMD product solution deliverables and alignment with customers’ platforms to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction throughout their product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, plan, and manage projects based on organizational and technical guidance.
  • Apply project management principles effectively across small to large projects.
  • Manage projects or processes of technical importance with cross‑functional impact.
  • Recommend improvements to processes for efficiency and collaboration.
  • Maintain project artifacts such as schedules, resource forecasts, and risk logs.
  • Communicate project status and facilitate team coordination.
  • Identify and implement mitigation plans for risks and issues.
  • Collaborate with teams to address challenges and elevate when necessary.
  • Collect and report performance data through dashboards and status reports.

Preferred Experience

  • Detail‑oriented and proactive in achieving project goals.
  • Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in people management is desirable.
  • Skilled in verbal and written communication across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in matrix management and technical program management.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Academic Credentials

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer / electrical engineering or equivalent practical experience
  • Formal project management education (PMP / Scrum Master)
