Overview :

Potvin Group of Companies, established in 1980, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Property Operations Manager to oversee the efficient management of on-site maintenance staff and tenant relations personnel for our portfolio of 200 rental units in Rockland.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our properties by providing leadership, guidance, and support to the maintenance and tenant relations teams.

Primary responsibilities :

  • Supervise rental team : Provide direction and support to the team, ensuring efficient management of day-to-day operations and prioritization of tasks.
  • Rental Pricing Strategy : Develop and implement competitive rental pricing strategies based on market analysis and property features to optimize revenue and occupancy rates.
  • Conduct Property Showings : Showcase available units to potential tenants, respond to inquiries, and guide them through the leasing process to secure new tenancies.
  • Tenant Relations Support : Assist tenant relations team in resolving complex issues, addressing escalated concerns, and maintaining high levels of tenant satisfaction.
  • Budget Management : Collaborate with the team to develop and manage departmental budgets, monitor expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintenance Prioritization : Work with maintenance team to establish priorities for repairs, maintenance tasks, and property improvements to preserve property value and tenant satisfaction.
  • Lease Administration : Manage lease administration processes, including renewals, terminations, and rent adjustments, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Compliance and Risk Management : Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, and mitigate risks associated with property management activities.
  • Performance Monitoring : Establish KPIs for property operations, monitor performance, and provide regular reports to senior management to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiency.

Requirements :

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in property management, facilities management, or a related field, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve excellence.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and construction processes.
  • Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to property management and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and other related software’s.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
