We are looking for an experienced iOS Engineer to join our team and help us revolutionize the way people move around cities.

As a key member of our team, you’ll have the opportunity to design and build the core technology that powers our fleet of connected vehicles.

With our rapid global expansion, you’ll play a vital role in crafting backend systems that can process boatloads of requests from our IoT devices and consumer-facing apps.

You will also have the chance to improve our suite of operational tools that enable our distributed workforce to charge, deploy, and maintain our electric vehicles.

What you'll do :

  • Identify, define, and strategically solve essential technical problems, including architecting and building highly scalable foundational platforms, spearheading new product initiatives, and revamping core application experiences.
  • Evaluate and provide clear reasoning for the technology and architecture choices made, as you will often be decider for these choices.
  • Lead the cross-functional collaboration with PMs, Engineers, Design, Data Scientists, Research, and Operations teams.
  • Mentor and guide other engineers on the team. Identify and develop future leaders.
  • Advise Lime’s management team on key technology adoption and process improvements.
  • Contribute to shaping overall engineering culture at the company.

About you :

  • 7+ years of industry professional software development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.
  • Strong background and proven leadership in mobile development.
  • Dynamic, driven and hands-on, yet capable to multitask across functions.
  • Experience with mobile testing frameworks and services.
  • Android development experience. (bonus)
  • Passionate. You’re passionate about Lime's mission and micro mobility; you want to see cities transform to become people-centric and less polluted.

The anticipated salary range for this position is CA$153,000 - CA$210,000. Equity and benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, depending on the position offered.

Not all candidates will be eligible for the upper end of the salary range. Exact salary will ultimately depend on multiple factors, which may include the candidate’s location of residence, the successful candidate's skills, experience and other qualifications.

In addition to base salary, some roles may be eligible for a variable bonus based on a combination of company performance, employee performance, and management discretion.
