Maintenance Millwright

Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Millwright to join their maintenance team at their state‑of‑the‑art Edmonton facility. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment through advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Job Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on production and packaging equipment, including pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical systems.
• Lead the installation, alignment, and commissioning of new machinery and equipment.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans to minimize equipment downtime and maximize operational efficiency.
• Conduct detailed inspections of machinery and systems to identify potential issues and recommend improvements.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize and schedule repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to production.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and repair logs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team.
• Assist in managing inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring availability and cost‑effectiveness.
• Work closely with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs or installations as needed.
