RESPONSIBILITIES :

Produces content and manages content calendars, schedules and other editorial responsibilities for their

website and corporate publications.

Responsible for planning and creating the company’s annual report.

Provides superior editing and proofreading support and ensures content across all channels is on

strategy and supports the brand. Ensures published pieces match the company’s voice, tone and style

requirements.

Writes and edits technical reports and policy documents with a particular focus on clarity and specificity.

Creates content for a variety of platforms. They’re looking for someone who can write and edit compelling

content across a variety of styles and channels content that builds unique and impactful

communications that engage their audiences.

Work with and influence internal clients and stakeholders at all levels of the organization to shape stories

and direct content to appropriate internal channels.

Contribute to the development of integrated strategies and plans, initiatives and programs to ensure

content and messaging are a lead consideration in the planning stages to ensure a holistic view across

companywide communications.

Help align business and corporate communications content and messaging with financial, shareholder,

corporate, reputation and social responsibility positioning to support the brand and build the company’s

story.

Identify and implement process efficiencies that will improve content development and publishing

processes. Contribute new thinking and best practices in content production and distribution from within

and outside the industry.

QUALIFICATIONS :

A bachelor’s degree or diploma in English, journalism, public relations, corporate communications,

marketing or a related field.

At least 10 years of experience in a corporate or agency setting.

A proven track record of managing editorial responsibilities for corporate publications, such as annual

reports, policy documents or technical manuals.

Advanced editing and proofreading skills with the ability to identify business priorities and potential

sensitivities. Expert in AP writing style and superb verbal and writing skills. A portfolio of samples will be

requested at the interview stage.

Ability to communicate key technical information in plain language for general consumption.

Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at one time in a fast-paced

environment.

Collaborative and team-focused with the ability to develop and sustain positive working relationships with

internal and external stakeholders.
