The Manager Scheduling & Operations (BC) is a critical role within our care communities as it impacts the lives of residents through the strong leadership and motivation of Sienna team members.

This position will be a part of a team that will provide exceptional service to a group of communities, provide strong leadership and management to a team of Scheduling & Operations Analysts in the province of British Columbia.

What You’ll Be Doing :

Oversee and lead all components of scheduling, payroll submissions, call-out, time-clocks, recruiting,

onboarding, process hire and Core functions within the designated systems based on a regional

assignment.

Provide coverage and act as a back up to the Scheduling and Operations Analyst team including being

familiar with all regional scheduling, collective agreement and hiring protocol.

Responsible for managing the completeness and accuracy of the site’s bi-weekly payroll submissions, as

well as for submitting off-cycle payroll requests to the Shared Services Team.

Provide support to the Scheduling and Operations Analyst team on all recruiting, onboarding, process

hire, core and benefits.

Provides continuous training, leadership, coaching and guidance to the Scheduling and Operations

Analyst team.

Provide weekly on-line training sessions to new team members on how to put in availability, time off

request, view schedule, view pay statements, PTO plans, call out process, systems navigation, surge

online learning and any areas related to self-self within 1 week of hire.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Who You Are :

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and / or Diploma or Certificate or relevant experience
  • You have must have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience with scheduling, time & attendance and pay administration
  • You have experience with understanding collective agreements
  • You are proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
  • You have well-developed and demonstrated experience in client-centric communication
  • You are a strong people manager and have the ability to prioritize, delegate and manage a team of diverse backgrounds
  • You are an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and have demonstrated attention to detail in day-to-day work with a focus on quality of work, accuracy and service
  • You have strong organizational and time management skills with a sense of urgency and accountability
