We are seeking a International Tax Manager to join our passionate team. This is a unique opportunity to delve into the complexities of Canadian and cross-border tax initiatives, provide value-added solutions to our business, and play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with evolving global tax laws and regulations.

As our International Tax Manager, you will be working alongside a dedicated team that thrives on complexity and challenges.

Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring our company’s compliance with evolving tax laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally.

Your Day-to-Day

• Craft our Canadian corporate tax returns, foreign reporting, global tax provisions, and global tax transparency initiatives.
• Meticulously document key tax positions and transfer pricing policies.
• Utilize your comprehensive understanding of Canadian tax legislation.
• Provide essential support in M&A planning and structuring considerations.
• Dive deep into tax research and international tax treaty analysis.
• Implement optimal cross-border financing and repatriation strategies.
• Support domestic and international tax audit defense endeavors.
• Champion our Digital Gateway tax portal and annual tax risk assessment.
• Collaborate across the business to drive strategic initiatives.
• Steer tax-driven projects while safeguarding budgets.

Your Toolkit

• CPA or other relevant professional designation
• 5+ years’ experience in Canadian corporate taxation
• Exposure to Canadian international taxand transfer pricing
• Working towards or completion of CPA In-depth Tax Program
• Bonus : Fluent in French and / or Spanish, versed in Microsoft Dynamics 365, and adept at Power BI dashboards.
