The Opportunity

The Power and Energy Solutions (PES) Engineering team is currently seeking a motivated Operations Engineer to join our team out of our head office in Calgary AB.

Reporting to the Operations Engineering Manager and based at our Calgary AB head office this position will be part of a multi-disciplinary team responsible for providing operations engineering support as well as assist in the development and execution of the GPMC program for the Power & Energy Solutions assets.

This position will work closely with leadership in operations and commercial groups across TC Energy as well as establish relationships with external regulatory bodies to ensure compliance. You will be exposed to TC Energys entire portfolio of energy assets and the programs utilized to manage our assets throughout Canada and the USA .

Please Note : This position will require travel to field sites approximately 20% of the time .

What youll do

• Provide sound engineering to determine cost-effective solutions for facility issues and enhancement projects.
• Support the Power & Energy Solutions Business Unit in meeting the requirements of the ABSA Owner User Program. i.e :

Supporting the Chief Inspector in integrity inspection and assessment Fitness forService (FFS) assessment and other tasks delegated by the Chief Inspector
