Job Title : Construction Manager
Duration : 10 Months (Possible to Extension)
Location : Belleville ON, K8N 5T8
Job Summary
Overseeing and directing construction projects from conception to completion.
Reviewing projects in depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs-Overseeing all onsite and offsite constructions to Monitor compliance with building and safety regulations.
Coordinate and direct construction workers and contractors daily while Reviewing work done.
Ensure quality construction standards and use of proper construction techniques.
Analyze, Manage, and mitigate risks- Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts, and obtain permits and license.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of construction projects.
- Manage project budgets, cost controls, and procurement activities.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and site staff.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Monitor project progress and resolve issues, delays, or risks.
- Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to safety policies.
- Prepare progress reports and communicate status to stakeholders.
- Manage change orders, claims, and project documentation.
- Ensure timely project close-out and handover.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).10+ years’ experience required as a Construction Manager or similar role.Construction Safety Leadership.Construction Schedule and Budget Management.Construction Supervisor.Work Environment
Combination of office-based planning and on-site supervision.May require travel to construction sites.Ability to work under tight deadlines and varying weather conditions.
