Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of Full Time Feed and Ag Equipment Salesperson based at our Agro Centre location in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan .

What You’ll Do :
- Demonstrate the behaviors and actions to support Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, values, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer focused approach
- Provide legendary service at all touch points through various communication channels
- Build relationships with members and customers to execute in-store sales (70%), and on the road sales (30%) and after sales service for feed, ag equipment, and related ag products through a structured farm contact program
- Collaborate with the Agro Team Leder to support the retail operational team; coordinate load out and delivery of products
- Assist with the management and care of the warehouse facilities, ensuring all regulatory and reporting requirements are met
- Ensure procedures for receiving, ordering, merchandising, and inventory control are being followed
- Support adherence to the Safety Management and Asset Protection systems, policies, procedures, records, and training requirements
- Support a culture of safety and maximize operational efficiency
- Complete other duties, as required

Who You’ll Work With : Reporting to the Agro Team Leader, you will support the Agro Centre Team within the scope of our values, mission, and brand, and lead the sales of feed, ag equipment, and related products.

Who You Are :
You are looking for a career in Agriculture Sales and :
- Previous experience in the agriculture sales and / or retail industry; Co-operative Retailing System experience are considered assets
- You have a passion for all aspects of the agriculture industry including livestock feeds, grain handling equipment and storage, ag equipment and an understanding of crop protection, fertility, and agronomy practices
- A degree or diploma in agriculture, business management, business operations, or a related field is an asset
- You have a strong work ethic, and understand the concept of building relationships with members and customers and be willing to work additional hours during seasonal peaks;
annual day travel expectation is 30%
- You are savvy with databases and Microsoft Office Suite and are or can become an expert at various point-of-sale systems and their reporting and analytics capabilities
- You must possess at least a valid Class 5 driver’s license; a 1A or 3A license and Ag designation(s) are an asset
