Job Title: Site Installation SupervisorRole Summary:The
Site Installation Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating installation activities across multiple project sites within the Vancouver region. This role ensures that work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in full alignment with project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. The Supervisor serves as the primary on-site point of contact for contractors, vendors, and internal project teams.
Core Responsibilities:Site Supervision & Coordination- Supervise and coordinate daily site installation activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and project plans.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Site Deployment Manager.
- Conduct site inspections to verify quality, compliance, and readiness for next phases.
- Liaise with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
- Ensure all installations meet regulatory and company standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation including site reports, safety logs, and installation records.
- Support commissioning and handover processes.
Key Deliverables:- Daily shift reports summarizing completed work (using internal template).
- Weekly KPIs showing installation progress on-site.
- Installation Reports upon completion of installation activities.
- Close-out of deficiency items.
Tasks to Be Performed:1. Site Preparation & Planning- Review site drawings, installation plans, and scope of work.
- Coordinate with project managers and engineers to ensure readiness.
- Conduct pre-installation site assessments.
2. Team Coordination- Assign tasks to installation crews and subcontractors.
- Monitor daily work schedules.
- Ensure all team members follow safety and quality protocols.
3. Installation Oversight- Supervise installation of equipment, infrastructure, or systems.
- Ensure work is completed according to specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot on-site issues and escalate when needed.
4. Safety & Compliance- Enforce safety regulations and conduct toolbox talks.
- Maintain site safety documentation and incident reports.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes and environmental regulations.
5. Quality Control- Inspect completed work for quality assurance.
- Document deficiencies and coordinate corrective actions.
- Verify that installation meets client expectations and regulatory standards.
6. Reporting & Documentation- Maintain daily site logs and progress reports.
- Submit installation checklists, photos, and signoffs.
- Track material usage and inventory.
- Report progress, delays, and changing site conditions.
- Participate in site meetings and contribute to project reviews.
7. Commissioning & Handover- Support testing and commissioning activities.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed for final handover.
Requirements:- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
- Strong knowledge of WorkSafeBC safety regulations and site safety procedures.
- Hands-on experience supervising electrical/mechanical/civil installations.
- Quality Assurance & Inspection skills (deficiency checks, compliance verification).
- Proficiency with site coordination/reporting tools (Excel, MS Project, Procore/Autodesk Build).
