Saskatchewan Blue Cross®, one of Saskatchewan’s Top Employers, is currently recruiting for a full-time temporary HR Analyst - Total Rewards to join our People & Culture team. This position offers the flexibility to be in-office or participate in hybrid options in our Saskatoon or Regina office locations. This is a temporary position for up to 18 months, with the possibility of extension.

Reporting directly to the Manager, Total Rewards & Wellness, the successful candidate will work with a dynamic group of People & Culture professionals and will be responsible for the development, implementation, analysis, and administration of our Total Rewards programs. With strong analytical and technical skills combined with excellent communication and problem-solving abilities, the HR Analyst - Total Rewards will facilitate, enhance and support total rewards and wellness programs and initiatives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Review and provide detailed analysis and recommendations to compensation and total rewards programs, policies and systems to meet organizational objectives and needsAnalyze, recommend and implement compensation and benefits best practices, trends and cost-effective programsPerform compensation market assessments and participate in market surveys; performing thorough analysis and detailed recommendationsFacilitate, advise and manage processes and detailed calculations related to compensation adjustments and incentive paymentsConduct evaluation of jobs, consulting with external data and confirming internal alignment to ensure evaluation is informed and relevantAssist in the preparation of detailed corporate budgets and reporting for salary and benefits and position managementPrepare corporate communications related to benefits, total rewards and wellness and facilitate education sessions as necessaryProvide guidance and direction to employees, team members and leaders on compensation, benefits and total rewards and wellness related matters to ensure programs and delivered efficiently and effectivelyPartner with other People & Culture teams on strategies, processes and program enhancementsDevelop, customize and administer BI reports utilizing the HRIS system to support the department and / or businessParticipate in the maintenance and enhancement of the HRIS system and related processes including but not limited to administration, optimization, security, and troubleshootingUpdate and amend HRIS system configuration and / or act as a SME in the implementation of system enhancements as required to meet functional and business requirements and enhance system efficiencyLead projects to support the delivery and achievement of People & Culture’s strategic goals and initiativesAccurately process data in the HRIS for employee records and payroll processing (job changes, salary changes, re-organizations, etc.), with all changes completed within payroll schedule deadlinesMaintain and update applicable processes, documentation and file maintenanceParticipate in cross-training and support activities related to payroll, benefits and pension administration, leave management, and wellness activities to as requiredOther related projects and duties as assignedQUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Completion of a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (i.e. Human Resources, Business), or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required3+ years of directly related experience within a Human Resources role.
