Our client, the leading provider of enterprise management software solutions to the Country and Golf Clubs, Foodservice, Construction, Fitness & Sports, Attractions, Salon & Spa, Education, Radiology / Laboratory Information Systems, and Product Licensing industries, is seeking a Legal Operations Manager to join their team.

The Legal Operations Manager is a new role that will report directly to the General Counsel and play a pivotal role in optimizing legal processes, managing vendor relationships, managing corporate governance and minute book matters, and sourcing the use and implementation of productivity tools.

The ideal candidate will be eager to apply their experience to their unique organization, with the goal of driving efficiency within the legal department and becoming an integral part of the team.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to streamline legal operations and increase workflow efficiency.
  • Work with General Counsel to coordinate the legal team members’ workflow and transaction documentation with in-house counsel and business teams, including receiving, distributing and coordinating incoming tasks and requests for legal assistance
  • Assist with document tracking, execution and retention, including the distribution of intercompany agreements, contracts, policies, templates and other important corporate documents
  • Drive process improvement while working with the wider teams to standardize our ways of working, highlight areas of inefficiency and work with the legal team to deliver change
  • Manage and optimize legal technology tools and systems to support the legal team's needs.
  • Provide guidance and support to legal staff on administrative and operational matters.
  • Analyze data and metrics to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in legal operations.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related experience.
  • Proven experience in legal operations, with at least 3-5 years of experience working as a legal coordinator or similar role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in legal technology platforms and tools.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and levels of the organization.
  • Familiarity with budgeting / billing and budgeting / billing tools.
  • Ability to adapt to change and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
