Job descriptionYou have a grade 12 education. You have minimum of 1-year experience. You’re familiar with working in the retail\grocery industry will be considered an asset. You’re honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do. You have strong work ethic and team player attitude. You have the ability to work under pressure in a fast paced-environment.
What you’ll do :
Reporting to the Grocery Manager, the successful candidate will :
- Be responsible for coordinating the sales staff in the grocery store; including handling administrative and support functions with all team members;
- Be responsible for engaging team members to ensure guest services standards are consistent in the store;
- Be responsible for providing guidance, complying with company policies, and delegating tasks to team members;
- Be knowledgeable with products and their sources;
- Be proactive in maintaining location image;
- Be expected to deliver excellent customer service and drive customer loyalty;
- Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude;
- Provide information, assistance and service to customers in a manner which will promote the sale of merchandise and meet their needs;
- Stock and rotate products on display;
- Be familiar with and adhere to Meadow Lake Co-op policies and procedures;
- Other duties as assigned.
