Job Summary

• Part‑time position requiring weekend and evening hours (4:00‑8:00 pm)
• Mix of in‑person clinic work, school‑based care, and some virtual care
• Provides comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and interventions to children with a variety of occupational performance issues
• Follows evidence‑based approaches to assessment and treatment
• Provides education and feedback to families
• Communicates effectively and maintains relationships with referring physicians, healthcare providers and other relevant community stakeholders
• Manages a varied caseload and meets required timelines
• Maintains complete and accurate medical records using an electronic system
• Other duties as required

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy with experience in paediatric assessment and treatment
• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)

Experience/Skills

• Minimum of three years of experience preferred
• Strong proficiency in assessment and evidence‑based occupational therapy interventions with children; experience treating the following areas is an asset:
• Feeding
• Fine motor
• Sensory processing
• Self‑regulation
• Motor planning
• Experience providing care virtually
• Proven ability to work as a member of a multi‑disciplinary team
• Utilizes critical thinking and problem‑solving skills
• Efficient time management and organizational skills required
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English required; proficiency in French is an asset
