We are seeking a highly skilled Ecommerce SEO Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in improving the functionality, relevance, and overall performance of our ecommerce site’s search engine, thereby enhancing the customer shopping experience and driving conversion rates.
Key Responsibilities :
- Analyze and understand user behavior and search patterns on our ecommerce platform.
- Conduct regular A / B tests and SEO audits to identify opportunities for improvement and optimize the search experience.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) using tools such as Google Analytics, Medallia, and Bloomreach to track the effectiveness of optimization efforts.
- Maximize conversion rates and reduce search exit rates by implementing strategies to improve search relevance and user engagement.
- Optimize navigation, internal search, and category pages of online merchandise by applying product ranking rules and ensuring that the most relevant products are prominently displayed.
- Monitor stock and sale movements, boost on-sale items, and bury out-of-stock inventory to maintain a seamless shopping experience.
- Enhance the customer’s purchase and search journey by suggesting improvements for site taxonomy and navigation structure.
- Ensure all categories are merchandised and sequenced appropriately, with the most relevant products positioned at the top for improved visibility and accessibility.
- Review Net Promoter Score (NPS) and customer feedback to identify pain points and areas for enhancement, and implement necessary changes to address customer concerns.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
- Basic Knowledge of Quebec French
- Proven experience working with ecommerce platforms and search engines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
- Proficiency in SEO techniques and tools, such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools.
- Experience with search engine technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
