Job Summary

Windsor Salt's Ojibway Mine in Windsor, Ontario, has an opening for an engineering co‑op student for the summer 2026 term. The successful applicant will provide technical support to the engineering and management teams at Windsor Salt.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintaining ventilation and ground movement records
• Performing the monthly development mapping (AutoCAD), showing all relocations in emergency routes, conveyor extensions, or brattice line developments
• Assisting the engineering team in matters relating to the selection of new equipment, material substitution, and prescheduled alterations or repairs
• Preparing the appropriations for capital and expense projects, in which they are involved
• Updating documentation, such as manuals, AutoCad drawings, etc.
• Performing electrical equipment audits, surveys, and data collection

Additional Requirements

The expected compensation for this role is $22 / hour. This posting is for a temporary contract position (May through August 2026). Windsor Salt does not require Canadian work experience and does not use artificial intelligence (AI) to screen or assess applicants.
