Tasks

  • Plan and coordinate shipments for sales and purchases based on orders and delivery deadlines.
  • Prepare and send purchase orders to suppliers.
  • Prepare shipping documents (delivery notes, commercial invoices, customs documents (Proforma, B13, etc.)) and ensure they comply with current regulations.
  • Monitor orders and shipments to ensure smooth progress and communicate any delays to the relevant department.
  • Select and negotiate with carriers and transport companies to obtain the best pricing and service conditions.
  • Receive, check, and send purchase requests issued by various departments.
  • Ensure proper parameterization and updating of the ERP based on established procurement methods.
  • Participate in solving purchasing-related problems and contribute to process improvement.
  • Participate in the preparation and analysis of various monthly reports.
  • Assist in the onboarding process of new employees.
  • Assist with administrative tasks and data entry.
  • Perform any other related tasks.

Job requirements

  • DEP, AEC, or DEC training in logistics or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar position.
  • High school diploma.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in French and English (essential for communicating with English-speaking clients).
  • Knowledge of computer systems, including Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.), Microsoft NAV Dynamics or Business Central ERP systems.
  • Experience in an RF communications or industrial company (an asset).
