TheOpportunity

The VP ofeCommerce will design and execute an enterpriseleveleCommerce strategy that will enhance the overall digital CustomerExperience (CX) ultimately driving revenue growth for both banners.

Based fulltime at our Client’s Canadian head office in Winnipeg MB the VP of eCommerce will have fullP&L accountability for the eCommerce business leading ateam to create a flawless customer journey (UX) throughout theeCommerce platform (SalesForce).

An integral part of the Marketingexecutive team the successful candidate will be a highlycollaborative and analytical leader with a deep understanding ofcurrent trends and tools that has previously supported them insuccessfully scaling an eCommercebusiness.

Please note Relocation support toWinnipeg MB will be provided for qualified candidates who presentlyreside elsewhere withinCanada.

Required ExperienceandQualifications

  • Bachelor’sdegree in Business Marketing or a relatedfield
  • 10 years of eCommerceexperience is a must with a proven record of effectingchange
  • 3 years of experiencein a senior leadership role is required. Director level orabove
  • Specific experiencein Apparel is strongly preferred but notrequired
  • Previous directmanagement of an eCommerce P&L north of$20M
  • Comprehensivetechnical understanding of digital marketing and eCommerceplatforms
  • Demonstrated successin customer experience optimization resulting in overall revenuegrowth
  • Strong analyticalskills with the proven ability to translate data into actionableitems
  • Collaborativeleadership approach with demonstrated ability to managecrossfunctional teams
  • Exceptionalcommunication skills and proven capability to manage deadlinessolve problems and make fast informeddecisions
  • Proven ability todevelop a team while innovating new organizational goals andprocesses
  • Demonstratedcapability in balancing shortterm goals and longterm vision toeffectively align with brandobjectives
  • Strong criticalthinking skills with demonstrated excellence in strategic planningexecution and continuousoptimization

Responsibilities ofthe Position

STRATEGY

  • Developand execute a comprehensive eCommerce strategy aligned with thecompany's overall businessobjectives
  • Identify andcapitalize on emerging eCommerce trends and technologies tomaintain a competitiveedge
  • Drive revenue growththrough innovative online sales strategies digital marketinginitiatives and strategicpartnerships
  • Set ambitious revenuetargets and develop actionable plans to achieve and exceedthem

OPERATIONS

  • Overseethe enhancement of the online shopping experience focusing onusability personalization and customerengagement
  • Utilize customer dataand analytics to optimize the user journey and increase customerretention
  • Evaluate and selectappropriate eCommerce platforms and technologies to supportbusiness goals
  • Collaborate with ITand development teams to implement new features functionalities andintegrations
  • Utilize dataanalytics tools to gather insights into customer behavior salestrends and websiteperformance
  • Leverage datadriveninsights to make informed decisions and optimize the eCommerceecosystem

LEADERSHIP

  • Build andlead a highperforming eCommerce team fostering a culture ofinnovation collaboration andexcellence
  • Provide mentorshipguidance and professional development opportunities to teammembers
  • Forge strategicpartnerships with external vendors agencies and technologyproviders to enhance the eCommerceinfrastructure
  • Negotiate contractsmanage vendor relationships and ensure deliverables are met on timeand within budget
  • Lead digitalmarketing efforts including SEO SEM social media and emailmarketing to drive traffic andconversions
  • Work closely with themarketing team to ensure cohesive branding and messaging across alldigital channels
