Job descriptionFull Complement of Hand Tools Personal Reliable Vehicle CSA approved steel toed boots with 6” ankle support Drug and alcohol testing which may be swab or urine depending on site requirements Successful completion of Company Orientation and site-specific orientation Fitness to Work Assessment Must be a Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician with Red Seal – Off Road or equivalent Must have between 5 and 10 years' Journeyperson experience Off Road experience is REQUIRED Experience with CAT E.T. and S.I.S. and / or Komatsu components is REQUIRED Experience with CAT Scrapers is Beneficial Ability to read / troubleshoot and diagnose using hydraulic and electronic schematics Exceptional organization and cleanliness skills are REQUIRED Ensure equipment is maintained at the highest standards, in a timely manner Conduct performance and quality checks according to procedure Perform preventative maintenance, repair, and overhauls Able to read and use fine measurements within 0.0005” Promote, execute and adhere to the company’s safety program, and encourage all employees, subcontractors and consultants to adopt safety as a culture This is a general responsibilities list and does not include all responsibilities required of the position

Sureway Construction is one of Alberta’s largest heavy construction contractors, involved in civil earthworks and grading, utilities and offsite, mine operation and aggregate extraction.

Schedule :
10+ Hours per day (day shift), 5 & 2, OT after 8hr / day or 44hr / week
Location :
Shop : 9175 – 14 Street NW, Edmonton, AB
